About Glass with Class
Located in Humble, Texas just North of Houston. Glass with Class was established in 1983 and we have since developed an excellent reputation as a highly experienced and knowledgeable company with thousands of satisfied customers in both residential and commercial areas.
Our philosophy has always been to do more than just satisfy the customer. Our goal is for the customers to be extremely pleased with our products and services. Therefore, we constanly strive to maintain quality control in all areas of our company.
Russel Shafer, a native Houstonian born in May of 1963, is a self-made man with a small business success story. He began his entrepreneurship in 1978 as a part-time carpenter constructing new residential homes, while he was attending Alief Elsik High School. Immediately after high school, Russel founded one of his first businessess, along with his best friend's father. The "Touch of Olde" antique furniture restoration began in 1981, specializing in restoring and refinishing antique furniture. He sold this business when his partner passed away in 1983.
Russel started a new business later in 1983, Glass With Class, the window washing company, with first year modest sales, made the move to expand into the home improvement area. Russel began offering windows and doors for sale, and the rest is history. Today, Glass With Class, has one the largest showrooms in the state offering full lines of Windows, Doors, Storm Windows, Solar Screens, Glass Products and MagnaSeal™ Windows.
